Coral Creek forms the centerpiece to a residential estate on the Ewa Plain in the Pearl Harbor area of Honolulu, Hawaii. The course was excavated from solid coral rock and has been sculpted to hold the floodwaters from all of central Oahu of a 100-year storm. The course features 6 ground water lakes that are 30 feet below the existing ground level. In addition, a stream connecting these bodies of water meander throughout the course, giving Coral Creek its name. Due to the salty nature of the irrigation source, the course is grassed entirely in "Salam" seashore paspalum, a hybrid turfgrass that is capable of surviving irrigation with pure seawater. It is the first course in Hawaii to use Paspalum for the fairways, roughs, tees, and greens. It is the most popular daily fee course on Oahu due to its condition and variety of play, and is host to many state-wide tournaments
