N&H designed the 4th nine holes and re-design of two new spectacular teeing areas at Club de Golf Le Grande Portneuf near historic Quebec City.

The River Rouge and the surrounding hills feature prominently on the fourth nine holes that is an intimate and tranquil layout sensitive to the environmental and natural site conditions. Buffer areas and special wetlands were added to ensure zero runoff to the river and all of the significant specimen trees were saved and feature prominently in the design.

While the fairways are narrow and tree lined there are lots of bailout areas that make the golf course friendly and playable for all golfers. The Seventh Hole is the jewel in the crown, a challenging par-3 offering a lovely view from the terraced tee boxes of the green protected by stream, lake and river.
